The Standard Lamps support The Who!

Good morning/afternoon/evening you lovely lot!

If you haven’t heard already, we are delighted to announce that little ole us have been chosen to open the first four dates of the British leg of the eagerly anticipated ‘The Who Hits 50’, destined to be one of the most memorable live tours of 2014.

The live dates that we are supporting are as follows:

  • 30 November: SSE Hydro, Glasgow, UK
  • 2 December: First Direct Arena, Leeds
  • 5 December: Capital FM Arena, Nottingham
  • 7 December: NIA, Birmingham

There are still tickets available for all four gigs. See to buy.

We can’t really tell how much of a huge thrill and true honour this is (there you go, we just did tell you). We have all been big fans of The Who from a very early age so this really is a dream come true!

Before we play this string of dates, don’t forget we are out there this week and next preparing for these shows!

21st Nov – Latest Music Bar – Brighton
28th Nov – Chichester Inn – Chichester

At this point we’d like to say thanks to all you lovely lot who’ve stayed with us and supported us for the last 4 years. Also we wish to thank The Who for giving us a chance and to Lisa (our manager) for fighting for us!
